Zagat’s 30 Under 30 Features The NoMad’s Brandon Laterveer

Brandon Laterveer sits down with Experience NoMad to tell us about his work at The NoMad Hotel

Over the last few years, Zagat has been raving about NoMad hotspots. Whether it’s a “Top 10 Outdoor Dining Spaces” list or the annual “30 Under 30” feature, we’re thankful for the support that the publication has shown our neighborhood.

Following in the footsteps of Spencer Rubin of Melt Shop and his coworker Megan Vaughan, Brendon Laterveer has been named to Zagat’s NYC 30 Under 30 list.

Laterveer of The NoMad and Make It Nice is a true hospitality success. After reading a review of Eleven Madison Park, Brandon sent a letter to the restaurant and landed a job as a kitchen server. Rising through the ranks, he worked every job in the restaurant, besides Sommelier, including bar back, server, captain and more. Eventually, Brandon moved over to The NoMad Restaurant, Eleven Madison Park’s next project, as a dining room manager.

Now, Brandon works as a project manager for the NoMad Hotel and Restaurant and is a core member of the team opening the NoMad’s Los Angeles expansion.
