Black Barn Restaurant Introduces Half-Price Happy Hour on Thursdays and Fridays
NoMad is world renowned for its dining options and now the neighborhood has a fun, affordable new happy hour menu from one of its culinary stars, Chef John Doherty of Black Barn.
In recent weeks, Black Barn, which sits at the northeast corner of Madison Square Park, has introduced a brand new breakfast menu and outdoor seating area, which has already drawn attention as one of city’s best from Zagat.
Now, the restaurant is featuring a new happy hour service on Thursdays and Fridays from 3-6 p.m. It is the perfect way to get the weekend started early.
Chef John Doherty explained why he expects the restaurant’s new offering to be a welcomed addition to the neighborhood, “Decompressing from the office grind with a cold beverage and great snacks with friends will always make for a better weekend.”
The menu features delicious gourmet comfort food and drinks, all for half price! You can get $1 oysters, $5 wings, $11 house made pizza, $5 draft beer (Allagash White, Brooklyn Lager, Flying Dog IPA), $8 glasses of wine and $12 specialty summer cocktails, along with lobster rolls and a rotating selection of rosé.
So, if it’s Thursday or Friday and you’re meeting up with friends or co-workers for happy hour, you’ll find no better place to celebrate the weekend than Black Barn.
