Enjoy Restaurant Week at Black Barn
NYC foodies can rejoice now that Summer Restaurant Week is underway. At $29 for lunch and $42 for dinner, you can enjoy three-course prix-fixe meals at some of the most talked-about spots around. We were thrilled to see that joining the list was one of our favorite new NoMad hotspots, Black Barn.
Black Barn’s restaurant week menu is filled with delectable summer dishes. Chef/Owner John Doherty shared with us that “we get our inspiration for our menu from the market. We see what items are available and think about how we would like them to taste and what we would like to pair them with. Light, bright flavors is what you will find in the summer and bigger, bolder, richer flavors in the fall.”
The summery market dishes planned for Restaurant Week include grilled corn and kale salad, fried blue point oysters, fresh tagliolini, swordfish tacos and more. The deserts, such as Chef John’s homemade cinnamon donuts, are worth the trip alone.
Chef John knows that for many New Yorkers, “Restaurant Week is great way to get out and try a restaurant that you haven’t been to before.” So with that in mind, Black Barn “worked to make our restaurant menu a special experience for new guests.”
Make a reservation now and enjoy a summer feast at one of New York’s must visit restaurant’s for an affordable price.
