The NoMad Alliance is Now Fully Operational

NoMad Alliance

The NoMad Alliance was officially launched last night at the Gansevoort Park Hotel.

After informal small group meetings last year and early this year and an inaugural neighborhood-wide meeting in the spring, the Alliance’s steering committee has put the essentials in place to get the Alliance up and running.

The NoMad Alliance is incorporated as a not-for-profit business association.

It has finalized its mission statement and goals.

The board of directors has engaged an accounting and law firm.

All the legal documents it needs to operate are being finalized.

Plans for initial activities are being drafted.

Soon, we’ll have more information about how everyone in the neighborhood can become a founding member of the NoMad Alliance, and the different tiers of membership available to both residents and businesses.

We’re thrilled with the progress of the neighborhood, and confident that the Alliance will help to continue to promote business and improve the quality of the area to make it New York’s most vibrant, exciting and desirable neighborhood.
