Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro is Moving to NoMad
We were thrilled to read yesterday’s headline in Real Estate Weekly announcing the relocation of one of our favorite eateries: “French restaurant Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro to open in NoMad.” Anyone, who has been to this beautiful restaurant and enjoyed its outstanding food and friendlier service, will welcome the news that Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro will soon be a neighbor.
Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro will move to a wonderfully designed, much larger format in a two-story space at 387 Park Avenue South (27th Street) and plans to open in Spring 2016. The restaurant’s new 11,000 square foot space is in the same building as the soon-to-open Barry’s Bootcamp, so there will be somewhere close by to work off the fabulous dishes, cheeses and wines Artisanal offers. In its new location, Artisanal plans to stay open from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m.
According to Real Estate Weekly, “. . . architect Adam Tihany is building out the new and much larger Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro, which will house the restaurant, a cheese store, bakery, and lounge, in addition to three private rooms available for events, a raw bar, and outdoor, sidewalk seating. Chef John Creger will retain many current favorites on the menu while also introducing a few new items to complement the expansion of Artisanal’s offerings that will include 560 types of cheese and 2,500 types of wine.”
If you can’t wait to visit the highly rated French eatery, Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro’s current midtown location at 2 Park Avenue plans to stay open until the move next year.
We can’t wait to welcome Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro to NoMad! This cherished French bistro will be a star in the galaxy of splendid restaurants in our area, joining other noteworthy recent additions, including La Pecora Bianca and Rocco Steakhouse.
