Drowning in a sea of NoMad restaurants? Business Insider has just published a massive piece announcing NoMad New York as a “dinner destination” for foodies and locals alike. The article highlights some of the best NoMad restaurants, ranging from “new” to “under-the-radar mainstays” with one common quality: being “delicious.”
We’ve listed their highlighted restaurants below and also added a bit of information about each spot. Explore some of the best NoMad restaurants:
- The Breslin – This establishment within the Ace Hotel is helmed by renowned chef April Bloomfield.
- L&W Oyster Co – This recently opened seafood spot features some of the minds behind the restaurants Almond and Per Se.
- The NoMad – Hailed as one of the best restaurants in NY, The NoMad has been buzzed about constantly since opening.
- Resto – Resto is famous for having one of the best burgers in NoMad.
- Tiffin Wallah – This Indian restaurant serves authentic vegetarian south Indian cuisine. Their food is also Kosher!
- Hill Country Barbecue – One of the go to spots in the city for birthday dinners and nights out with your friends.
- Vesto – Thin crust pizzas featuring fresh toppings!
- Stumptown Coffee Roasters – Go to any hip coffee shop in Brooklyn and there is a good chance they are serving Stumptown Coffee. The Portland company’s NYC flagship is located here in NoMad NY.
- Penelope – This bakery and cafe is known for their great brunch.
- Chinese Mirch – This restaurant takes an Indian spin to classic Chinese dishes.
- Ilili – This restaurant serves fantastic Lebanese/Mediterranean mezze (small plates).
- Ravagh – This is the spot to go to for back to basic kebabs and grilled veggies.
- Les Halles – Two words. Anthony Bourdain.
- Wine:30 – This wine bar features a cellar that you can book for private tastings.
