The NoMad Hotel and Restaurant Getting Lots of Love

The NoMad Bar offers some of the city's finest cocktails inside two elegantly decorated libraries.

The NoMad Hotel and Restaurant has quickly established itself as one of the top dining and lodging destinations in NYC. Recently, they have been getting a ton of positive write-ups online.

Cook In Dine Out just ran a very favorable review of the restaurant. Calling the space “gorgeous,” the piece raved about the cocktails and wine list. They especially enjoyed their starters and talked about how The NoMad “pushes the envelope with unusual ingredients.”

The NoMad Hotel just won the Hotel Chatter “People’s Choice Award” for 2012. Chatter states, “we (and the rest of the world) quickly fell in love with the NoMad’s rich, black-and-gold-accented lobby, its skylit restaurant with old-fashioned dessert trolleys, and its wood-paneled library. And let’s not forget about those rooms, which we reviewed not once but twice, and which had us swooning over the claw-foot tubs, wooden floorboards, and minibars hidden inside vintage trunk”

As an end of the year special, Eater NY recently asked many food industry types to name their best meal of 2012. Time Out New York critic Jay Cheshes responded with a hearty endorsement for NoMad Chef Daniel Humm. He stated, “It’s a toss up between the new New York-themed tasting menu at Eleven Madison Park and the over-the-top roast chicken at The Nomad. Humm and Guidara are killing it!” A few more of the people polled in the article mentioned The NoMad as well.

Congrats to a welcome addition to our neighborhood!
