Valentine’s Day Date Ideas in NoMad
Look out lovers . . . just a week from Sunday is February 14th! Yes, Valentine’s Day, and that always brings an annual flurry of questions for lovers in this “too-many possibilities” city: What to do? Where to go?
If you’re still looking for the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, you can find all the romance New York City has to offer right here In Nomad. Here are some of our favorite date ideas for the big weekend.
La Pecora Bianca
Overseen by Chef Simone Bonelli, La Pecora Bianca’s elegant Italian country house setting will set the tone for a relaxing, intimate evening. As always, you can enjoy a sensuous feast, including fine Italian wines, locally sourced foods from the Hudson Valley, and 24 months-aged prosciutto di parma.
Or, you can choose the Valentine’s Special — a four-course prix fixe meal beginning at 5:30 p.m. for $75 per guest. Feast with your partner on scallop and caviar risotto, beet and ricotta ravioli, or butter-poached lobster. Finish with the special desert of sheep’s milk ricotta mousse, and let the amorous atmosphere take you away.

In the rear dining room, gawk at the floor-to-ceiling wall comprised entirely of fine wines.
You and your date will be taken by the flavors that have made Rocco Steakhouse so popular. The restaurant is offering its regular mouthwatering repertoire of gourmet steaks, seafood and delicious Italian fare, perfect for your Valentine’s Day meal.
