Mile High Run Club NoMad Open on 25th Street

Mile High Run Club NoMad opens on 25th street

We are pleased to highlight the arrival of the Mile High Run Club just in time to get you ready for summer. The club, which has 35 newly installed treadmills along with the locker and shower facilities, is located in a great 3,300 square foot space at 24 West 25th Street. The Club’s boutique also has all the gear you’ll need to look and feel sharp while you work out.

Founder and CEO Debra Warner told us: “The up and coming NoMad neighborhood is a densely populated area of Manhattan with a great mix of residential and commercial. It also happens to be located in a part of town where running outside can be challenging.”

Mile High Run Club distinguishes itself from other fitness studios with its focus on indoor treadmill classes and outdoor running programs that combine endurance and strength training with the unique culture of the studio. Health calls the studio classes “truly beneficial, helping to improve your running through speed, incline, and interval-based drills.”

Classes are available at every level of training, from beginners to the seasoned marathoner. Options such as “DASH 28,” “HIGH 45,” and “THE DISTANCE” vary their emphases on strength, hill training, and sprint tempos. Classes are led by a staff of elite coaches, runners, and Olympians like John Henwood and John Trautmann, who has the distinction of surpassing legend Steve Prefontaine’s high school record for the 3,000 meter race!

Mile High Run Club opened a new location in NoMad

After the success of the first Mile High Run Club in NoHo, CEO Warner couldn’t be more pleased with her newest location in NoMad, telling us that “there’s a great deal of camaraderie between newcomers to the area and our runners enjoy the convenience of a central location with the added benefit of fantastic options for lunch, dinner and shopping in such close proximity. The variety of sophisticated new restaurants and bars blend nicely with established businesses, which feels rejuvenating.”

A particularly exciting aspect of the studio is its “racecation”offerings. In the past Mile High has organized groups for trail racing in exciting destinations like Mallorca, Spain.

Welcome to the neighborhood!
