NoMad Restaurants Top Best of 2014 Lists

See which NoMad neighborhood restaurants land on city-wide Best of 2014 lists.

2014 was a fantastic year for NoMad’s culinary scene. With iconic restaurants like 11 Madison Park, Hill Country BBQ Market and Shake Shack, NoMad was already known to foodies as one of the city’s premier neighborhoods for a diverse array of both casual and upscale dining. However, 2014 brought a number of notable new eateries to the NoMad area.

New restaurants like Danny Meyer’s pizzeria Marta and Justin Smillie’s Upland have both drawn significant praise since launching late last year. In fact, the editorial staff at Eater NY, including Editor in Chief Amanda Kludt, praised Marta, Upland, Sweetgreen and Enrique Olvera’s Cosmé just south of NoMad, as some of this year’s best new NYC restaurants.

With such strong openings at the end of 2014 and rumors of more great restaurants to open before summer, we’re excited to see what develops in 2015.
