Luxury Furniture Brand Poliform Expands to NoMad
NoMad can look forward to another new high-end neighbor. In Summer 2016, Italian luxury furniture brand Poliform will open a new showroom at 112 Madison Avenue. Poliform already has a 16,000 square foot showroom in the A&D Building, 150 East 58th Street. This second location will place Poliform in the heart of NoMad, which is rapidly becoming the city’s new center of fine home brands and international design.
Poliform offers custom cabinetry for closets, furniture, wall systems, kitchens and more, creating spaces that are both comfortable and contemporary. Founded in 1942, the company established itself in the Italian region of Brianza in 1970. Still a family operated company, Poliform now has global operations in 70 countries around the world, from Austria to Vietnam.
Beyond its products, Poliform is known for the custom design of complete installation, including multi-unit residential, corporate office, cultural, entertainment, education, hospitality and retail projects. The company has been involved in some very high profile projects. For example, here in New York, Poliform helped develop the Time Warner Center, and in Little Rock, Poliform worked on the Presidential Chambers of the Clinton Library.
NoMad’s residential market already tops the charts for luxurious New York digs. It’s only fitting that the area should have the brands that service this high-end market.
