Esquire Names Atomix #2 Among Nation’s Best New Restaurants

Atomix, right here at 104 East 30th Street in NoMad, has been named the second-best new restaurant in America for 2018, coming in right after No 1, The Angler in San Francisco.

The critic Jeff Gordinier said in his review, “My dinner at Atomix left me reeling, and I came away with the sense that (chef Junghyun) Park, who owns and runs the restaurant with his wife, Ellia, is on the brink of joining Eric Ripert, Dominique Crenn, and Daniel Humm as one of the top-echelon talents in America. His interpretation of Korean culinary tradition is both reverent and radical . . . As JP writes on one of the cards, “My goal at the end of the day is to have made your lives a bit brighter and a bit happier through the experience that we have created at Atomix.” And he does.
