Ace Hotel to host CMJ Events
CMJ is here! The one week a year where you can cut out of work to see your friend’s band play at 4 in the afternoon! If you’re looking for a break in the NoMad District, Ace Hotel has you covered. They are hosting their third annual CMJ Hangout Sessions. Their first event is today!
These events will feature DJ sets from Frenchkiss Records, FADER Label, Beggars Group, Mom + Pop, Modular Recordings, White Iris and Third Man.
Here are the set times:
Wednesday : Fader Label, noon-4pm; Collage Workshop with Caris Reid, 4-7pm; Beggars Group, 5pm-midnight
Thursday : Collage Workshop with Caris Reid, 4-7pm; Mom + Pop vs. Frenchkiss Records, 5-9pm; Modular Recordings, 9pm-midnight
Friday : White Iris, noon-4pm; Collage Workshop with Caris Reid, 4-7pm; Third Man Records, 5pm-midnight
Ace Hotel will also host Converse and Search Party’s CMJ day party tomorrow (10/18). Performers include Choir of Young Believers, Joy Kills Sorrow, Hey Marseilles, and Brainstorm. Music starts at 1130am.
