Yoga Shanti Opens In NoMad

Yoga Shanti opens in the NoMad District of New York

Sag Harbor-based yoga studio, Yoga Shanti, recently opened a branch in the NoMad District.

The studio is located at West 24th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. It has Moroccan-inspired decor with authentic lanterns, arches, chandeliers and carpets. Designers Evan Yee and Joel Seigle sourced the studio’s decor straight from manufacturers in Marrakesh.

Beginners may be drawn to one of Yoga Shanti standard classes (fundamentals, the beginner’s club, self practice and open session), but the classes that really set the studio apart are those specializing on topics ranging from Kundalini to Flow and Urban Zen.

Drop-in classes are $25, but for a short time, the studio is offering an unlimited month pass for $150.

With a wide range of classes and a beautiful space, we’re sure Yoga Shanti will be a strong addition to NoMad’s budding fitness industry.
