NoMad Action Alert: Vote Now To Improve Worth Square
This week we have a special opportunity to further beautify the open spaces in NoMad thanks to the Department of Parks and Recreation’s Parks Without Borders campaign. The program has been promised $50 million from Mayor Bill de Blasio to improve city parks. But the city will allocate the money based on local interest and involvement.
The Madison Square Park Conservancy wants to make sure that the city awards the maximum funds to the long overdue rejuvenation of Worth Square.
It’s up to us. Just follow these three steps to help!
STEP 1:
Click here to be brought to the “Parks Without Borders” page. Scroll down the page until you reach the map with the following message. Click on “Get started!”
STEP 2:
Enter “10010” in the ZIP Code form, click “Search” and then click on the small green triangle to the left of Madison Square Park.
STEP 3:
When the “Suggest an Improvement…” form pops up, click on the boxes highlighted below, which are those suggested by the Madison Square Park Conservancy. Add any additional suggested improvements or comments and, finally, click “Submit.”
You’re done! Thanks for doing your part to improve our neighborhood for years to come.
