Shake Shack: Buy-One Get-One Milkshakes
Don’t have the budget for a big night out? Or maybe you two just aren’t that serious . . . yet. Or maybe you just really love the Shack’s frosty treats. If you take your date to Shake Shack on Valentine’s Day and buy a milkshake, your date gets one free. No matter how you look at it, it’s a pretty sweet deal.
The Madison Square Park location is still closed for renovations, but you can find other Shake Shacks on the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, in Grand Central Terminal, DUMBO, Midtown East, Battery Park City, the Theater District and on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn.
Romantic Dinners
With Valentine’s Day so close, many restaurants are already booked up. But if you’re craving a hot meal before any of the great activities listed above (or the activities not listed above), you still have options.
We’ve called around, and SD26 is still taking reservations. Eleven Madison Park is fully booked, but you can put your name on the waiting list and hope someone else cancels. Or, if you want a more casual environment, Blue Smoke, The Breslin and Turnmill are all wonderful, low-key options. Your significant other will be just as beautiful over a pint of beer as over a glass of wine. We promise.
