The NoMad District is lucky to be home to the famous Jazz Standard, where you are guaranteed to see the world’s greatest performers.

This month, Jazz Standard is introducing a whole new riff on brunch with “The Smokestack” brunch series.  It’s not your run-of-the-mill brunch, because Jazz Standard is bringing together New York’s Sunday ritual with live jazz music.  Each Sunday, you can enjoy live music, food, and a drink for only $35.

Seth Abramson, Artistic Director at Jazz Standard, told ExperienceNoMad.com: “We are thrilled to offer the NoMad neighborhood and all of New York ‘The Smokestack,’ Jazz Standard’s exciting new brunch series on Sundays combining both our award-winning music programming and culinary excellence at an incredible deal for fans of all ages.”

Just upstairs from the club is Danny Meyer’s Blue Smoke, home to one of the best barbecue meals in the city.  The same Blue Smoke favorites we love will be available on the Jazz Standard’s prix fixe brunch menu downstairs.  Hungry fans can choose from a variety of barbeque favorites with one entrée and two sides.  Completing the meal is your choice of a Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Coffee, or Juice.

The best news of all is that “The Smokestack” isn’t just a summer special – it is now a permanent offering at Jazz Standard.  It’s thrilling to have this unique brunch option available in NoMad.  Tables can be reserved “Smokestack” live sets at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Make your reservation soon, and experience brunch in a whole new light!
