Terri & Sandy Solution Generates Buzz with JDate “Get Chosen” Campaign
NoMad-based creative ad firm Terri & Sandy Solution has been getting a lot of attention for their new campaign for JDate, an online dating service catering to Jewish clientele.
The campaign, which has been featured in The New York Times and hip Jewish culture magazine Tablet, consists of stock photos overlaid with jokes aimed at getting a lot of attention. One ad depicts a statue of Moses holding the Ten Commandments behind text reading, “6,000 Years of Persecution Just So You Can Go On Match.com?” Another ad reads, “Find someone who wasn’t on your Birthright trip.”
While some of campaign’s ads may be lost on a non-Jewish audience, this does not seem to bother JDate or Terri & Sandy Solution. Sandy Greenberg, co-founder of Terri & Sandy Solution, told the The New York Times, “If non-Jews are stumped about Birthright, that’s probably good… We don’t care if non-Jews don’t get this work.”
The campaign, which is named for the tagline, “Get Chosen,” started off with print ads but expanded to online media (and a Times Square digital billboard) right before Valentine’s Day. The firm just finished scripts for upcoming TV ads, which will be shot in the coming weeks.
Terri & Sandi Solution has been earning a strong reputation in recent years. You may remember their work with Bridges Academy last year.
We’re so lucky to have such buzzed-about creative firms in the NoMad neighborhood!
