Norman Foster’s Plans for Porcelanosa Headquarters

Superstar architect Norman Foster has some interesting plans for the Porcelanosa headquarters. The Spanish ceramic and tile company hired Foster+Partners to refurbish the Commodore Criterion building in NoMad NYC after buying it for their US headquarters.

You might recognize Norman Foster’s work on the Heart Headquarters Tower in Midtown. Before his death, Buckminster Fuller collaborated with Norman Foster extensively. Fuller also influenced Leo Villareal’s recent Madison Square Park art installation, Buckyball. How’s that for NoMad NYC trivia!?
