Madison Square Park art installationBuckyball, closes on Friday February 15th. This Leo Villareal installation which opened in late October, has been a huge hit with NYC audiences.

Leo Villareal’s piece has hosted diverse events ranging from a yoga-themed solstice celebration to a family art workshop.

The name of the Madison Square Park art installation is a reference to Buckminster Fuller. In a full-circle NoMad NY connection, Fuller once worked with famed architect Norman Foster. Foster’s firm is currently handling the refurbishment of the building that will become the Porcelanosa US headquarters.
