NoMad Celebrates Veterans Day Centennial — Travel Alerts

NoMad is preparing to celebrate the centennial anniversary of Veterans Day on Monday, with a parade honoring the continued bravery and dedicated service of our nation’s armed forces.

As our neighborhood shows its gratitude and patriotism on this significant occasion, be mindful of possible extra congestion and delays on subways and streets in the area. These interruptions will be more serious than in most years due to the 100th anniversary and increased media coverage.

Donald Trump will make opening remarks at the ceremony and lay a wreath at the Eternal Light Memorial located in NoMad’s own Madison Square Park, followed by the Marines’ march up Fifth Avenue.
