Equinox joins NoMad’s growing fitness community

Equinox, voted America’s best gym by Fitness Magazine, is expanding to NoMad with plans for a new 39,000-square-foot fitness club on 27th Street.

The gym signed a 20-year lease in October for the first three floors of the building owned by real estate company Savanna, which invested $10 million since 2017 to remodel the building and has attracted tenants such as Stonehill Taylor Architects, production company A24, and Argentic Investment Management.

Known as a luxury fitness brand, Equinox boasts a variety of fitness classes ranging from cycling to yoga to Pilates, as well as exclusive spas and high-end boutiques. Its amenities leave you feeling pampered even after working up a sweat, giving you that extra dose of motivation to stay committed to your fitness regime and overall wellness. Membership at their clubs allows access to even more benefits, with spa and shopping discounts, unlimited group classes, complimentary training, and a free fitness assessment, for an all-inclusive exercise experience.

Equinox’s newest impressive location will be mere blocks away from its Flatiron and Gramercy branches, joining the ranks of roughly 50 gyms in our neighborhood. It will now be more convenient than ever to squeeze in regular workouts around a busy professional and personal life, reaffirming NoMad’s reputation as one of Manhattan’s “fittest neighborhoods.”
