New Blue Dog Cafe to Open in NoMad on 27th Street
Adding to the recent infusion of new restaurants, we are happy to announce that the Blue Dog Cafe is planning to open its latest location in NoMad. Reportedly, Blue Dog has signed a lease at 115 East 27th Street between Park and Madison Avenues and is planning for an opening later this month or in June.
With the Blue Dog Cafe, NoMad is getting an interesting addition that blends sit-down meals with grab-and-go style coffee, sandwiches and soup for hurried New Yorkers – all with detail and care given to natural local ingredients and tasty recipes.
A big part of Blue Dog’s success has been built on a distinguished offering of cold-pressed juices and smoothies – over 20 varieties in total! These range from fruity concoctions to vegetable-infused ones like the “All Green Plus,” which includes parsley, kale, spinach, apple, ginger, cucumber and lemon.
The restaurant boasts a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, offering favorites and specialities such as: classic French toast and an Eggs Benedict with Maryland Crab for breakfast; tacos, sandwiches and the special “Gooey Cheese” hamburger for lunch; and coriander-crusted ahi tuna for dinner, with appetizers like calamari and ceviche.
Blue Dog Cafe will have a total of six locations in Manhattan by summer, and we will provide updates on our Twitter feed when we have an official opening date for its NoMad location. For now, welcome to the neighborhood Blue Dog Cafe!
