NYC is home to some of the most-renowned restaurants in the world. That’s why it’s such a treat every time NYC Restaurant Week comes to the city. For a couple of weeks each summer and winter, hundreds of the finest dining establishments in New York offer a special discounted menu ($26 per person for lunch and $42 per person for dinner) so visitors and residents alike can explore the many tastes of the city without breaking their budgets.
Numerous NoMad-area restaurants will be participating in the Winter 2019 edition of NYC Restaurant Week, which kicked off on January 21st and runs through February 8th. Blackbarn
A neighborhood favorite known for its upscale “barn” environment and locally-sourced recipes, Blackbarn is offering a curated two-course lunch menu during Restaurant Week. Choose from a list of appetizers that include tuna tartare and market beet salad and follow it up with entrees including poached cod or the restaurant’s own take on grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Bread & Tulips
Serving rustic Italian flavors in a cozy, casual environment, Bread & Tulips is another neighborhood favorite. This eatery is taking full advantage of NYC Restaurant Week with different prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner, ensuring guests can enjoy a different dining experience each time. The two-course lunch menu includes appetizer selections such as burrata and polpetta, followed by entrees that include veal Bolognese and duck ragu lasagna. For dinner, choose from appetizers that include crab cakes and kale salad, entrees such as seared sea scallops and strip steak tagliata, and your choice of dessert.

During Restaurant Week, Dos Caminos is offering a three-course lunch menu with specialties including mushroom tacos and ham-and-cheese tortas and a different menu for dinner with dishes such as red chile duck and mole short ribs.
