There is always fantastic live music going on in the NoMad neighborhood. This weekend is no exception.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Warren Wolf will be performing multiple sets a night at Jazz Standard.  The vibes player specializes in the free improv realm and will be joined by Aaron Goldberg, piano; Reuben Rogers, bass; and Billy Williams Jr., drums.

As you may know, the NoMad neighborhood has become a hotbed for jazz in NYC. You can find some of the world’s best jazz musicians performing in the neighborhood on a nightly basis not only at the Jazz Standard, but also at The Jazz Gallery and The Flatiron Room.

On Sunday night, Bird Courage will continue their Ace Hotel residency. Scheduled for the Lobby Bar at 8pm, this free show will feature Bird Courage’s pastoral hymnals and positive atmosphere. DJ Chris Tucci, who curated this month’s lineup, will spin before and after the sets. The night also features an opening set from Ricci Swift.
