Summer Nights Live Music Series Kicks off July 11 in Madison Square Park
There’s always something fun to experience in NoMad this time of year—and starting Wednesday, July 11, 2018, the air will be filled with great live music. For the next six weeks through August 15, The Summer Nights music series in Madison Square Park will take place every Wednesday evening.
This free community event, hosted by the Madison Square Park Conservancy, spotlights a diverse roster of some of New York City’s finest bands playing music that will make you want to dance. First on the Summer Nights lineup will be the Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra, an 11-piece ensemble known for putting their innovative spin on today’s indie-rock hits. Other bands featured this year will include funk band The Gold Magnolias, Cuban dance band Los Habaneros and indie-folk act Spirt Family Reunion, among others. See the full lineup below.
On Wednesday evenings, come to the Western Gravel in Madison Square Park at 6:00pm. Bring the family and enjoy the warm summer breezes and exciting performances in one of New York City’s most beautiful parks.
