Enjoy Your NYC Fall Staycation in NoMad
Fall colors are still vibrant in New York City, and NoMad is receiving special attention as a destination for leaf peepers and staycation-ers in the area.
NoMad is famous for attracting young creatives and startups, so it’s no surprise that the Columbia University student website, Bwog, focused on NoMad as a place for students to spend time during Fall Break from classes.
In particular, the publication noted our local culinary gem, Eataly, and all the restaurants and fine Italian specialties available inside. “NoMad is not only the area of the Flatiron building,” Bwog wrote, “but also of Mario Batali’s Italian market.”
Whether you’re a student on Fall Break, or just a student of life looking for a break from the normal routine, nothing is better for celebrating autumn than Madison Square Park. For your fall staycation, walk below the canopy of canary-and-crimson leaves and take advantage of the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s ongoing programming. For example, you can embark on the next Art Tour to explore the monumental public sculpture Big Bling or join in for one of the Hort Walks and learn about the diverse flora of the park.
Nothing beats NoMad in the fall — enjoy it while you can!
