NY Organic Market Moves from Union Square to Madison Square Park

The NY Organic Market has moved from Union Square to Madison Square Park

Fans of the NY organic market in Union Square can breathe easy this weekend. While their current location is being used as a staging ground by ConEd, the Greenmarket has moved to Madison Square Park this week and will stay through Saturday at the earliest. You can now get some vegetables while checking out Buckyball!

Saturday is the Union Square Greenmarket’s busiest day and the Parks Department has given the NY organic market vendors permission to set up at 26th St from 5th Ave to Madison Ave in Madison Square Park while they are displaced from Union Square.

According to the Madison Square Park Conservancy, all the vendors have been very respectful about cleaning after themselves. We hope all the surrounding residents of NoMad, Chelsea and Flatiron give a proper welcome to this NY organic market.
