Kids Fest: Stages in the Square 2018 — Bringing Family Fun to Madison Square Park

On Saturday, September 15, NoMad will be brimming with family fun as the annual Kids Fest: Stages in the Square returns to Madison Square Park. Between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., kids and their parents will enjoy a wide variety of live performances throughout the park, along with face painting, lawn games, and delicious food from local vendors.

This year’s Kids Fest is set to be double the fun with performances on four stages (compared to two last year) plus a larger lineup of acts incorporating music, puppetry, magic, dance, and theater. The roster includes many returning acts and new acts.

Plus, when you and the kids inevitably get hungry, you’ll find on-site food service provided by Melt Bakery, Eataly and La Sonrisa.

Kids Fest: Stages in the Square is a free event open to all, thanks to the Madison Square Park Conservancy and this year’s event sponsors: New York Life, Taste of Home, EatalyLEGOBethpage Federal Credit UnionMelt Bakery, and the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.

The event goes on rain or shine – here’s hoping for a beautiful day, but we’re sure it’ll be fun either way!
