NoMad’s signature summer moment is almost here — the inaugural NoMad Jazz Festival arrives August 9–10 in Madison Square Park — and our neighborhood gets the inside scoop. While the music is free, the VIP experience takes it up a step.

Before the wider city catches on, we want our community to be the first to know: NoMad Jazz Festival VIP Passes are now live. These all-access passes offer backstage entry, exclusive seating, festival merch, Shake Shack meals, and an invite to the Sunday Afterparty. Plus, purchase before July 8 to save $25 on Daily and $50 on Weekend Passes.

Whether you go full “Duet Picnic” or keep it cool with a “Groove Pass,” you’ll be supporting local culture while living your best jazz life. But be warned: quantities are very limited.

The inaugural NoMad Jazz Festival is produced by The NoMad Alliance, in partnership with The Jazz Gallery, Flatiron NoMad Partnership, and Madison Square Park Conservancy.

The Festival’s Mainstage lineup, curated by The Jazz Gallery’s Rio Sakairi, features headliners Lizz Wright and Ravi Coletraine’s “Translinear Light: The Music of Alice Coltrane,” plus Brandee Younger Trio, Roy Hargrove Big Band, Michael Mayo, Arta Jēkabsone, Caracas Trio + Melissa Almaguer, and Dabin Ryu Trio.
