Don’t Miss Sunday Jazz Brunch at NoMad’s Scarpetta

Via BroadwayWorld.com

Since moving into the James Hotel from the Meatpacking District a few years ago, Scarpetta has become one of NoMad’s favorite dining spots for its unique take on Italian-inspired fine dining. Now, the folks at Scarpetta have given us yet another reason to stop by: a delightful Jazz brunch every Sunday.

Between shareable creamy polenta and raw yellowtail and entrees like almond French toast and zucchini mezzaluna—paired with a selection of signature brunch cocktails, there’s something on the brunch menu to suit nearly every taste. Choose from a prix fixe option or order a la carte. Enjoy your meal, drinks and friendly conversation at a leisurely pace in the sophisticated dining room.  It’s all accompanied by an array of top-shelf local musicians playing jazz selections that are sometimes smooth, sometimes lively, but always tasteful. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Sunday brunch starts at 11 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m.—but the music plays from noon to 4 p.m., which gives you plenty of excuse to linger with whatever is left of your dessert and your glass of wine. While Scarpetta only launched this brunch two months ago, it’s already become highly popular, and available seats are increasingly difficult to come by. Do yourself a favor and make reservations in advance.
