Weekend in NoMad: 2014 Pride Weekend at The Ace Hotel
The Ace Hotel is doing their part to celebrate 2014 NYC Pride Week with a star-studded event Saturday night. The event, “Pride With JD Samson,” is co-sponsored by Delta, Confetti System and The Breslin.
JD Samson, a prominent DJ and producer best known as a member of Le Tigre, MEN and the film Shortbus, will be curating the night. Samson has brought on board special guest DJs W Jeremy, Amber Valentine, Lauren Flax, Sveta, D’hana Perry, Roze Royce and Alexis Blair Penny. The evening will be hosted by emcee Melissa Burns, a popular former model and founding member of the band W.I.T.
The fun begins at 10 p.m. and promises to go all night long. The party is expected to be packed, so guests must RSVP online at the Ace Hotel website. In case you won’t be in New York this weekend, you can still check out the event, as Ace Hotel’s Pride party travels to the hotel’s Palm Springs location on November 7th and 8th.
