Weekend in NoMad: Best Hotel Bars in NYC
Gothamist recently published a list of the “10 Best Hotel Bars in NYC.” To no one’s surprise, a couple NoMad neighborhood hotspots were on the list.
The piece highlighted the Ace Hotel Lobby Bar, calling it “surprisingly unpretentious” yet “notoriously hip.” Gothamist also recommended the Ace’s Lust For Life and Pablo Honey cocktails.
The “spectacular” Library Bar at the NoMad Hotel also made the cut. With snacks and cocktails chosen by Jessica Gonzalez (formerly of Death & Company) and a gorgeous library theme, this is one of the coolest cocktail lounges in the city.
There are so many other NoMad neighborhood haunts that should have been on any list of the best hotel bars in NYC.
On a nice night, you can’t beat the Gansevoort Park rooftop. In addition, Bar Millie in the Carlton will transport you to a French parlor in the Tin Pan Alley era. This balcony bar sits just above Salon Millesime. Head there for a taste of old world glamour.
