Wagamama at Your (Delivery) Service
Wagamama, the London ramen king that’s fresh to NoMad, has the delicious solution for the hungry NoMadder stuck in their office yearning for noodles: delivery.
With over 140 locations globally, Wagamama picked the vibrant melting pot of NoMad for its flagship store in New York City, and a little over a month ago began to offer take-out. Last week, lunch hour got even more exciting for NoMadders when Wagamama launched a delivery service exclusively through Seamless and Grubhub. Offices within a mile radius of the restaurant can now have delicious food dropped off at their door. Just log in to either app and start ordering!
One of the several Japanese translations of Wagamama “self-indulgent,” but since we’re more the chained-to-a-desk-on-a-deadline types, the Experience NoMad team decided to treat itself. We opted for a surf and turf spread. The smiling deliveryman quickly came to our door and dropped off chicken and prawn cha han (Japanese fried rice), vegetable gyoza (pan-fried dumplings), crispy chili squid, lollipop grilled prawn skewers, and steak bulgogi (soba noodles with marinated steak).
The bulgogi and cha han were the fan favorites, but, more importantly, everything was hot and delicious, fresh to order and full of flavor.
If you haven’t put Wagamama on your Seamless or Grubhub favorites list, now’s a good time. And if you’re in need of a stroll and some sunshine in Madison Square Park, remember Wagamama offers take-out either over the phone or on its website!
