Todd Snyder Picks His Favorite Restaurants in NoMad

Designer Todd Snyder gives us his favorite restaurant picks in NoMad, New York City.

The NoMad District has been getting a lot of buzz lately. Menswear designer Todd Snyder recently sat down with Jetsetter.com to talk about why he loves the neighborhood.

“I love the area, so it was an easy decision to start my label, Todd Snyder, here. It feels like Manhattan’s new creative hub. . . It’s great people trying to make a living and build a brand, and there’s a sense that we’re all in it together.” Snyder isn’t the only one to share this sentiment. NoMad is home to many of the city’s best creative firms.

Snyder went on to offer up his favorite restaurants in NoMad. “I work long hours, so I let off steam with a walk through Madison Square Park and have a burger at Danny Meyer’s Shake Shack if I’m early enough to beat the long lines. I also like the Library Bar at the Nomad Hotel.”

In addition, Snyder is a fan of Ace Hotel’s John Dory Oyster Bar and The Breslin, which also topped real estate website Urban Compass’s picks for best eats in NoMad.

Urban Compass sang NoMad’s praises stating, “you’ll fall in love with NoMad’s high-energy mixed with casual cool.” With the number of exciting business opening up and the burgeoning night life, it’s easy to see why.
