Weekend in NoMad: The Turnmill Bar

The Turnmill in NoMad offers a rustic menu of pub food and draft beer. The Turnmill NYC offers these tasty dishes in a unique industrial barn setting.

Head over to the NoMad District this weekend and grab a drink at the neighborhood’s newest bar, Turnmill.

Turnmill offers a full drinking menu, including cocktails, a large selection of bourbons, and domestic and craft draft beers. If also has a complete brunch and dinner menu with comfort food items like BBQ sandwiches, beer bratwurst, chicken panini and onion soup.

Turnmill’s rustic menu is complemented by the bar’s self-described “industrial barn-decor,” which includes a front glass exterior, exposed brick walls, aged wood flooring and a stone fireplace. The bar also adds to NoMad’s reputation as the burgeoning destination for jazz in NYC, featuring a live jazz trio and jam session every Wednesday at 11 p.m.

Turnmill is located at 119 East 27th Street between Park Avenue South and Lexington. The bar is open from noon until 4 a.m. daily and offers happy hour specials from opening until 7 p.m. everyday. The food menu is available from noon until 10 p.m. (11 p.m. on Thursdays).

Head over this weekend and help welcome The Turnmill NYC to NoMad!
