The Little Beet Opening NoMad Location

the little beet nomad to open in 2015

Commercial Observer is now reporting that NoMad will have two Franklin Becker restaurants. The Little Beet will be located at 1140 Broadway (between 26th and 27th Streets) joining The Little Beet Table which opened last year at 333 Park Avenue South (between 24th and 25th Streets). The new Little Beet restaurant inked a 15-year lease on the 2,600 square foot space. This will be The Little Beet’s fourth location in Manhattan.

The Little Beet Chef Franklin Becker is known nationally to foodies from his appearances on Bravo’s Top Chef Season 5, Top Chef Masters and Iron Chef America. In addition, the Chef’s pedigree includes stints as executive chef at Capitale, the Brasserie, and Trinity at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

With a simple philosophy of “serve real food deliciously,” Becker’s cuisine is dedicated to wholesome food, created with seasonal and local ingredients. Becker’s menu is filled with carefully sourced dishes to create everything from cold pressed juices and breakfast sandwiches, to fresh salads and heartier “Little Beet Special Bowls.”

The gluten-free eatery joins numerous healthy and fast lunch options in the area, including recent additions Sweetgreen NoMad, EXKi, Inday, Luke’s Lobster and Dig Inn. We can’t wait to have another great healthy lunch spot to add to our list! The restaurant is slated to move in “by the end of the year” according to the Commercial Observer, but we’ll keep you updated.
