Sweetgreen Set To Open In NoMad Hotel

NoMaders are set to have another great lunch spot, a healthier on at that, when Sweetgreen opens tomorrow. The D.C.-based farm-to-table salad spot is going to open in a storefront located at the base of the NoMad Hotel, on Broadway between 27th and 28th Streets.

NoMad will be the first NY location for the salad gurus, but they are slated to open a second spot in Tribeca later this year. Sweetgreen, founded in Washington, D.C., has opened its first NYC location at the NoMad Hotel.

Speaking about the move to NY co-founder Nicolas Jammet said, “We are thrilled to bring our take on delicious, healthy and locally sourced salads and more to NYC, first at the chic NoMad Hotel, and then in one of the city’s most loved neighborhoods, Tribeca, this winter.”

Discussing our great neighborhood, Nicolas also said, “NoMad is one of the city’s most exciting communities, home to some of the best food and shopping, and we can’t wait to plant our roots here. While sweetgreen was born in D.C., I was born and raised in New York, so this definitely feels like a homecoming.”

We can’t wait!
