Start Your Holidays with the Annual Advent Concert at Marble Collegiate Church
One of the best parts of living and working in NoMad is the diversity of local events — from premier outdoor food festivals to antique exhibitions. To get in the holiday spirit, you can’t beat the Annual Advent Concert at Marble Collegiate Church this Sunday.
The Annual Advent Concert: Journey to Bethlehem will feature a mix of music, readings and dance with contributions from The Marble Choir, Festival of Voices and Chamber Orchestra. Stage, television and screen actor Victor Slezak and Kim Sebastian-Ryan will be the featured narrators. Musical offerings will include compositions from European masters like Handel and Mendelssohn along with the work of American composers like Eric Whitacre, Samuel Barber and Amy Grant.
If you’ve never visited historic Marble Collegiate Church here is your chance. This stunning church, built in 1854, will be beautifully decorated for the holiday concert. This wonderful local event in a marvelous setting may just become an annual tradition for you and your family.
Ticket prices are $25 for students and seniors, $35 for general admission and $60 for reserved seats. Tickets sold by Thursday, December 1st qualify for a $5 discount. Click here to reserve your spot!
