Small Business Saturday: Noir Et Blanc, The Thrifty Hog
Swing by NoMad-based stores Noir Et Blanc and The Thrifty Hog this weekend for Small Business Saturday. Started in 2010 as part of the #shopsmall movement, the event encourages people to do their holiday shopping at small businesses.
The Thrifty Hog, known for upscale vintage apparel and resale apparel, is offering 30% off. By shopping at The Thifty Hog this Small Business Saturday, you’re not only supporting local businesses, but you’ll be helping Hearts of Gold, a charity devoted to helping homeless mothers and their children. The Thrifty Hog donates all of its proceeds to the charity and provides job-training for these women.
Hearts of Gold was founded by Deborah Koenigsberger, who also owns NoMad based Noir Et Blanc. This upscale women’s boutique is also participating in Small Business Saturday and is offering 40-50% off their 2014 winter collections.
Head to NoMad this weekend for some holiday shopping and support local businesses that give back to the community!
