Weekend in NoMad: 5at5, San Fermin Plays Ace Hotel
Looking for some music this weekend? Come on over to NoMad and do it all.
Start the weekend off at the Ace Hotel for the 5at5 series on Friday afternoon. The event features the up-and-coming San Fermin. Hot off their European tour, the band will play five songs from their acclaimed self-titled debut album.
With material composed by leader Ellis Ludwig-Leone, the band has garnished comparisons to Sufjan Stevens and Dirty Projectors and has been featured on Pitchfork and NPR. The eight-member live band uses a wide range of instruments, consisting of two lead vocalists, violin, saxophone, trumpet, keyboard, guitar, and drums. This show comes at the start of their cross-country winter tour.
