President Obama Comes To NoMad Today!
President Barack Obama is on his way back to Manhattan today for more fundraising and his main stop is going to be in the NoMad District! The NoMad Hotel will be his main event, with a wonderful dinner planned at the NoMad’s incredible restaurant.
The fundraising dinner is said to include 60 people who have paid $40,000 per head to attend the dinner with President Obama — this coming courtesy the President’s campaign official.
We are delighted to have the president in the NoMad District, but it is sure to create quite a bit gridlock around the neighborhood. President Obama is set to touch down in New York just after 4:30 p.m. and he is expected to leave the city around 10 p.m., according to the White House — so your evening commute around the area might be a bit difficult.
Obama has made frequent visits to the city since at the start of his fundraising, including a dinner at Sarah Jessica Parker’s house, but we’re pretty sure the atmosphere and food at The NoMad Hotel will most likely be the best he has seen yet!
Proceeds for Monday’s event will be divided between the campaign, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.
