NoMad Neighbors: Riccardo Dardha from Bread & Tulips
We are starting a new feature where we ask some of our neighbors about some spots they frequent in NoMad NY. To kick it off, we asked Bread & Tulips owner Riccardo Dardha to dish on some of his favorite spots. Bread & Tulips, located in the Hotel Giraffe, focuses on delicious Italian cuisine with fantastic wine pairings. You might recognize Riccardo from his video interview in our “I’m NoMad” section.
Check out his answers below and get to know one of your NoMad neighbors!!!
Where do you go for drinks in NoMad after work?
My employees have taken me for drinks at Churchills Bar on 29th Street. It’s open late, and for restaurant workers that is a perfect spot to unwind.
What is your favorite building in NoMad?
My favorite building is the Credit Suisse [building] on 25th Street. I love the idea that this was meant to be a tall skyscraper but the wall street crash of ’29 or ’33 stoped them from building further. I like buildings with stories.
Best spot to take a date or your significant other?
I have taken my significant other to The NoMad restaurant and have had a great time.
