NoMad Heroes: Ilili and Wagamama Help Individuals and Families In Need
Ilili and Wagamama are helping to take care of those in need. These NoMad establishments are doing what they can to help support and provide assistance to individuals and families during the COVID-19 crisis.
Ilili: When Philippe Massoud, Executive Chef and owner of Ilili made the difficult decision to temporarily close, all of the restaurant’s food stock was donated to Ilili’s staff of over 130 people. Massoud also worked to raise funds and distribute care packages to employee’s families who were most in need of help.
Ilili’s website says, “Ilili is a place for family, the one you’re born into and the one you create around food, love and friendship.” Massoud’s generosity, efforts, and commitment to his staff and their families exemplify this sentiment now more than ever.
