NoMad District based New York technology firm Mirror opened their office doors last week to other startups who are were without internet due to Hurricane Sandy. This is a great example of the vibrant Silicon Alley tech scene that is taking place in NoMad.

In an interview with the New York Observer, Mirror CEO Daniel Mattio said that “as a startup founder and CEO, I understand how important it is to be productive. Each day is critical in the life of a startup.”

Mirror launched in March, and is a social discovery platform for dating, professional and social purposes. It is great to see the vibrant NoMad startup community filled with New York technology firms coming together during this trying time for the entire city.
