New Years Eve at The Flatiron Room
New Years Eve is just around the corner, and the options here in NoMad are some of the best in the city. If you haven’t made your plans yet, you might want to think about ringing in the New Year at The Flatiron Room, one of our favorite NoMad spots.
The night is set to be a festive one of food, drink and music. The six course tasting menu comes courtesy of executive chef Susan Burdain, and includes such delectable dishes as Oysters Rockefeller, warm mushroom and cauliflower salad, citrus-glazed Scottish salmon, Flatiron steak and banana cream pie (each course has vegetarian options as well).
Those who want to make this New Year’s Eve a particularly special night, can choose to have each menu item paired with a luxury whisky, and as we have noted in the past, The Flatiron Room’s whiskey selection is one of the best on the East Coast. There are two seatings, the first, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the second, from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Both seatings include party favors to ring in the New Year in style.
