Madison Square Park Reads Returns

This year's Madison Square Reads series is co-curated by NeueHouse and features restaurateur Danny Meyer

Madison Square Park Conservancy and creative office space Neuehouse are partnering to bring the seventh season of Mad. Sq. Reads to Madison Square Park this fall.

This year’s season is co-curation by Neuehouse. Neuehouse opened its multi-level collaborative office space in the NoMad area last year. It features a café, a private viewing room, and conference rooms as well as a full video and audio recording studio.

Mad. Sq. Reads is a free series that features readings and interviews with some of the literary world’s prominent figures. Past featured artists include Joyce Carol Oates, Isabel Gillies, Lee Child, Blake Bailey, Bret Anthony Johnston and more. This year’s season, which will be held on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on the steps of Madison Square Park’s Farragut Monument, features a number of exciting writers and restaurateurs:

While Neuehouse is membership-based, and closed to the public, their involvement with Mad. Sq. Reads is the start of their new community-based initiative to enrich the neighborhood’s artist community.
