Luthier Music Moving to NoMad

luthier music to open at 24th st nomad

Music runs deep in the veins of NoMad. From the historic Tin Pan Alley to a modern day hub of jazz and some of the coolest DJ parties in town, the neighborhood has something for everyone.

We’ll soon be able to add one more musical institution to the list. Long-time Hell’s Kitchen music store, Luthier Music, will reopen in NoMad. After their original building was sold earlier this year, Luthier Music was forced to temporarily close its doors.

Hells Kitchen’s loss is NoMad’s gain, as Luthier Music is currently renovating a new location at 49 West 24th Street, according to reports in DNA Info. Luthier specializes in classical and flamenco nylon-string guitars and even manufactures its own nylon guitar strings.

With some of the biggest names in classical guitar and flamenco proudly endorsing Luthier’s strings, this store will fit right into a neighborhood of industry leaders. We’ll pass on additional information  about Luthier Music’s 24th Street location as it becomes available, and we’re looking forward to browsing the store when it opens!
