Luke’s Lobster Bringing Fresh Seafood to NoMad

lukes lobster to open in nomad

Luke’s Lobster, New York’s top seafood shack, has announced the opening of its NoMad location at 5 West 25th Street. Yes! Now we have an especially exciting new addition to the area’s food choices — the city’s freshest seafood.

The menu will feature all the Luke’s Lobster classics — the lobster, shrimp and crab rolls, along with a selection of chowders and bisques. Luke’s sources its seafood directly from the lobstermen at the dock and steams it straight out of the water at Cape Seafood, Maine. The traceability of the supply chain ensures every crustacean is harvested sustainably, handled with care, and presented to guests as fresh as humanly possible.

Luke Holden, the Founder, points out the healthy advantages of eating at Luke’s Lobster, “We’re confident our lobster rolls will be a hit in this neighborhood. It’s perfect when you want a lunch that’s healthy for your body — a lobster roll is only 380 calories and lobster is lean protein with less cholesterol than chicken.”

With that in mind, you can indulge in Luke’s signature desserts and beverages, including the Maine sea salt caramel brownie bites and blueberry crumb bites from Milk & Cookies bakery, Maine Root Soda, Green Bee Soda and Luke’s Blueberry Lemonade.

The NoMad space will be like its sister shacks, featuring reclaimed wood counters and nautical décor. Also, remember that Luke’s Lobster offers catering citywide for a $200 minimum and DIY seafood kits via its website for delivery to your kitchen.

Luke Holden founded Luke’s Lobster in the heart of NYC’s East Village to bring the rustic, relaxed experience of his native Maine to the city. The NoMad location joins nine other stores in New York as well as locations in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
