LEGO Store Flagship Opens in NoMad

Swing by the Lego store in NoMad from October 10th through October 13th for their Grand Opening celebrations!

LEGO opened their new flagship store in NoMad last week. The flagship store, located at 200 5th Avenue between 23rd and 24th Streets, becomes Lego’s 76th store in the US.

The branch in NoMad features a LEGO Lounge complete with a replica Flatiron Building large enough for children to build and play upon, an oversized couch, reading area, a special LEGO carpet and free charging stations. The store will host LEGO club meetings, free monthly mini-model build sessions and sell a variety of 500 LEGO sets, LEGO-inspired items and custom New York-inspired models.

The store’s decor features Lego murals of New York City scenes. In the front windows there is a 8-foot tall Statue of Liberty LEGO model and there is also a LEGO miniland replica of New York City, and a traditional New York street clock. Of course the store would not be complete without a life-size brick model of the store’s mascot Brickley the Dragon.

LEGO is celebrating the launch of the branch with a full weekend of Grand Opening celebrations between October 10th and October 13th. LEGO is offering the following Grand Opening weekend deals:

  • Friday: Free Collectible LEGO T-Shirt with a $50 purchase
  • Saturday: Free Limited-Edition LEGO Store Set with a $75 purchase
  • Sunday: Free Exclusive LEGO Minifigure Set with a $50 purchase
  • Monday: Free mini Statue of Liberty Set with a $35 purchase

The store’s normal business hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.

Welcome to creative, fun-loving, family-friendly NoMad – the perfect match for LEGO!
